Vespa V50 N electric conversion
As based on a Vespa 50N from the seventies in a condition that was in dire need of restoration was converted into an electric vehicle that is suitable for registration as a light motorcycle.
-from our partner Scooter & Service-
The first electric Vespa from our partner workshop Scooter & Service is finished:
Based on a Vespa 50N from the seventies in a very bad condition, we have equipped with the electric conversion kit of the manufacturer prosimo An electric vehicle that can be registered as a light motorcycle was built.
For the construction of the electrical Vespa Apart from the frame, only new parts were used - in view of the driving performance, the scooter is equipped with our Superlow fork, BGM Pro Competition shock absorbers and a 4-piston radial brake with Magura HC1 brake pump, the slightly dropped SS90 handlebar underlines the sporty note of the little racer.
Driving impressions of the electric Smallframe Vespa
When starting the first test drive, the classic two-strokeVespaDrivers are initially confused: No need to kick-start the engine, no need to open the fuel tap, no need to pull the clutch and engage the gear – simply turn on the ignition and step on the gas…
… When driving off, the initial irritation gives way to a brief moment of shock, because the small electric Vespa It displays an acceleration that is only known from two-stroke engines with at least 30 hp - until the top speed of around 85 km/h is reached, the 4000 watt engine pulls through seamlessly and unabated, and given the high-quality chassis and the high-end disc brake, you secretly wish for even more top speed.
Our E-Smallframe also cuts a fine figure in everyday use:
Despite a weight increase of about 10kg compared to the two-stroke original, the Vespa Super-maneuverable and easy to handle, the immense acceleration is matched by more than adequate braking – there's probably no faster vehicle in town. The range with two fully charged batteries is a good 80 kilometers in mixed use, and still 60-70 kilometers on cross-country trips – definitely sufficient for us.
