The first customer workshop at prosimo: An idea becomes a real experience 🛠️⚡
A very special milestone for us at prosimo: We were able to conduct the very first conversion workshop with one of our customers!
From idea to reality
We've been asked repeatedly whether it's possible to convert to electric drive ourselves—ideally with some assistance. The answer: Yes, but why not together? This is how the idea for our first customer workshop was born. And the best part: Our participant didn't come with any Vespa – but with a completely restored parts set, freshly painted and ready for conversion.

The process: Practice, screws, pride
Together with Simon, our founder, a master mechanic and electrical engineer, we went through the conversion step by step. Building the chassis, installing the wiring harness, steering tube, running boards – in short: from a pile of individual parts, a beautiful Vespa, this time with an electric soul.
The special feature? The participant brings his own Vespa and leaves our workshop with a road-legal electric scooter including TÜV certificate. A true sense of achievement that you'll never forget!

Workshop daily rate for one calendar day
The daily flat rate entitles the holder to use a fully equipped workplace, including the standard tools required for the conversion, on the premises of prosimo GmbH.
The customer is responsible for carrying out the conversion work themselves. Our staff will be available during the workshop to answer any organizational or technical questions.
Assembly work or active implementation of the conversion by prosimo is not included.
If the customer requires assistance or if an employee performs work on the vehicle, this time will be charged separately for each commenced 15-minute period according to the currently valid service fee.
The daily workshop fee includes:
- Use of a workshop workplace
- Using standard tools
- Technical support for questions
- Electricity, compressed air and workshop infrastructure
Consumables, spare parts and additional services are not included in the daily flat rate and will be charged separately.

For one calendar day you get a fully equipped workshop workstation with everything you need for the conversion: standard tools, electricity, compressed air, workshop infrastructure – and most importantly: someone you can ask if you get stuck.
Our people are on site. Not to take the work off your hands – but so that you can do it right.

What you should know:
You carry out the conversion yourself – that's the whole point. If you'd like one of our employees to actively assist you, this will be billed separately at a service rate (per 15-minute increment). Consumables and spare parts will also be charged – it's a real workshop, not a wish-fulfillment service.
And yes: The daily rate costs something. But in return, you get real infrastructure, real expertise, and a day where your Vespa comes a step closer to her second life.
