January: Largeframe launch – the moment it became “real”.
It all started in January with a conversion that was a real game-changer for us: the first consistent build of our Largeframe High Performance Kit. Not as a "show" project, but as a true milestone where many details would be crucial: manufacturing, fits, assembly processes, system tests, and the question of how stable a setup really is in everyday use.
At the same time, 2025 also marked a leap forward organizationally. We strengthened prosimo's operational capabilities to ensure that development, prototype construction, production, and regulatory approval processes don't work against each other, but rather function as a unified system. This is precisely the structure necessary to transform a prototype into a reliable product.
And yes: 2025 was also a year on a personal level in which the focus became even clearer – more time, more energy, and more attention for prosimo. The result was clearly noticeable throughout the year in terms of speed, output, and quality.
Spring: Hardware redesign, EMC and international recognition
In the spring, things got technical – and that's exactly where the difference lies between "it works somehow" and "it works reproducibly, cleanly and close to series production".
We have further developed key components and revised our system: adjustments to the motor controller, updates to the battery management system, and fine-tuning of functions and robustness. However, such changes always mean that the entire system must undergo relevant tests again.
Therefore, one focus was on EMC testing. The goal: electromagnetic compatibility as a complete vehicle – across various performance levels. Additional tests in the context of electrical safety and functional safety were also conducted, with a view to broader international recognition.
Why? Because we don't want prosimo to remain confined to just one market. Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy – demand is growing, and we want our kits to not only impress, but also be thoroughly documented, tested, and durable.
Summer: Community, events, testing ground – on the go every weekend
Summer 2025 was packed. It felt like every weekend was spent "on the road": meetups, rides, community events, conversations, test drives – and that was exactly what mattered. Because real miles and real feedback are irreplaceable.
Test bench sessions: hard facts instead of gut feeling
A highlight was the test bench sessions. These sessions aren't about pub talk figures, but about reliable data: performance, tuning, behavior under load, temperature range, and reproducibility. This kind of work is the foundation for ensuring that a kit not only feels good but also performs flawlessly from a technical standpoint.
International: Visibility across borders
2025 was also a year in which we became more visible internationally – not as an empty announcement, but with a concrete presence, contacts and the necessary steps in the background so that further markets can be served realistically and seriously.
September: Racing & Track – Fast-Track Learning
In late summer, the focus shifted to the track and training. This is one of the most honest places for development: if the setup, parameters, and system behavior work under demanding conditions, then that's a strong signal.
The racing environment doesn't just mean fun (which was definitely there), but above all a learning curve: tuning, software parameters, drivability at the limit – and insights that later flow into robust series setups.
Autumn: Infrastructure & Production – Scaling Needs Order
In the fall, alongside our day-to-day operations, we worked on the fundamentals: workshop and production infrastructure, warehouse logistics, standards, processes. It sounds dry – but it's the difference between "we can build kits" and "we can reliably deliver and grow."
This included, among other things, an improved warehousing and logistics structure, clearer processes, and a setup that effectively separates development and production without sacrificing speed. At the same time, prototyping was further expanded, including through a more efficient 3D printing workflow, because rapid development cycles are a genuine competitive advantage today.
Speedometer integration: Battery level displayed where you expect it to be.
Another topic that had matured significantly by 2025 was a clean, standardized solution for displaying the battery level in the instrument cluster. The goal was an integration that would be visually seamless. Vespa It fits and is useful in everyday life – without being a DIY project.
This also shows how we prefer to work: taking feedback from practical experience, building a better solution from it, testing again – and then rolling it out as a clean product detail.
November/December: Trade fair season – Intermot and the most important lessons learned
Things got intense towards the end of the year: trade fair season means preparation, setup, trade fair days and follow-up – and support, production and development continue in parallel.
Intermot was a clear focus. Many conversations, many reactions, many questions that kept coming up. This is precisely what's valuable, because it immediately shows which points need better explanation, which features are inspiring, and where we can be even more precise in our advice and communication.
Partner network: 2025 was a strong year for installation partners
One point we are particularly proud of in 2025: We have gained additional installation partners. For us, this isn't just about "growth," but also about quality. Good workshops are crucial to ensuring that conversions are carried out professionally, cleanly, and in a style-appropriate manner.

End of year: Thank you – and why this only works together
Ultimately, one thing remains paramount: Thank you. To all the customers who place their trust in us. To everyone who takes test drives, gives honest feedback, and thus helps to improve the product. And to all the partners who implement conversions and spread the word about prosimo.
2025 has shown: Silent VespaRiding a moped is not a gimmick. It's a new riding experience – and for many, exactly the way to continue using classic metal scooters without losing their character.
Outlook for 2026: Largeframe series production, wideframe in development, further kits in the pipeline
2026 will be exciting – and above all, concrete. We're taking the next step towards largeframe series production and simultaneously advancing other platforms. Wideframe is under development, and further kits are in the pipeline. Modularity has been part of the concept from the very beginning – and this will be even more evident in 2026.
