After a quick spin on the scooter, Simon shows directly on the device: How much battery power is left, and how long will it take to fully recharge? The result is surprising – and makes the scooter considerably more suitable for everyday use.

The onboard fast charger in detail
The new charger is not an external accessory that you need to carry separately – it is directly installed in the scooterYou plug in the cable, wait, and drive on. It's that simple.
Key technical data at a glance
- Charging capacity: ~2 kW
- Charging time: approximately 50 minutes for a battery with a capacity of about 3,5 kWh
- Connection: normal household socket (Schuko) or wallbox
- Construction: Integrated into the conversion kit, no external device required
- Retrofitting: Also possible for scooters that have already been converted
What this means in everyday life
Imagine you're on the go, taking a coffee break – and simply recharging your device while you're there. 50 minutes at the next power outlet means a fully charged battery. No charging station, no special equipment, no hassle.
That's the difference between an e-scooter as an experiment and a A real everyday vehicle.
Speaking of everyday usability: The fact that we can offer such features at all is directly related to how we work at prosimo: Modular system developed in-house. While components like batteries and motors are developed and manufactured according to our specifications, the system integration, software, and overall architecture of the kit remain entirely in our hands. This gives us the freedom to make targeted adjustments: if we notice that customers are losing time while charging, we develop a solution. And because the system originates from us, we can also make new features available for existing conversions – not just for new customers.
Optionally retrofittable – also for existing prosimo conversions
The fast charger is not only available for new kits: Anyone already driving a prosimo conversion can use it. have it retrofittedThis makes the entire fleet of older prosimo conversions more suitable for everyday use at a stroke.
This is a deliberate design principle at prosimo: New features should be accessible to existing customers as much as possible – not just to new buyers.
