Tradition meets innovation

Simon Hische has been a huge Vespa-fan. But like many two-stroke enthusiasts, he knows the downsides: constant repairs, exhaust-polluted air, and restrictions imposed by environmental regulations. His vision: old Vespaelectrify and thus make it more sustainable, less maintenance-intensive and suitable for everyday use.

The highlight: Simon's conversion kit is designed so that the conversion is uncomplicated and the original look of the Vespa preserved.

What is behind the conversion?

The prosimo conversion kit consists of three core components:

  • An electric motor, which is integrated into the original swingarm and replaces the combustion engine.
  • A battery system, which replaces the tank and is easy to insert and remove.
  • A control unit, which sits exactly where the combustion engine was previously installed.

After eight years of development and countless tests, prosimo received TÜV approval in 2023. This makes the conversions legal throughout Europe – a milestone for all Vespa-Lover!

Locally manufactured, sustainably designed

At prosimo, value is placed on quality and regionality:

  • All components are manufactured in Lower Saxony.
  • The software is developed internally.
  • The assembly takes place on site.

The prosimo team is growing steadily and now consists of ten motivated employees.

The vision of prosimo

The conversion of small-frameVespaThis is just the beginning. Prosimo is currently working on conversion kits for large-frame models such as the Vespa PX, T5, or Rally. At the same time, Simon Hische is considering other possible applications:

  • The batteries can also be used as energy storage for the home serve.
  • They are suitable as a mobile power source for events or garden projects.
